Fun Coast Down Syndrome Association

All proceeds from these auctions are going directly to the Fun Coast Down Syndrome Association! This facility does amazing work with a lot of special needs adults aged from their early 20's up to 63 years old, but they are hurting for funds. When I heard about these limited edition Crab Rollos, I figured I could get a bunch and auction them off to help Fun Coast out. Beside helping Fun Coast, I'm guessing there were a lot of people who weren't able to get these amazing rollos for one reason or another (when they were made available to the public, they sold out in 30 seconds!), so this is a second chance for people who missed out, and the winners of each auction can rest assured that their payment will go to a great cause!

My niece Jenny goes to Fun Coast, and my sister is the President of this organization. She will make sure every penny is spent in the best way possible. I asked her to write something for this page, and she said:

3 Fridays a month we have activities. Pizza and game night, project night where we try to teach them a new skill. Also movie night with popcorn   Each month we have cupcakes and ice cream for anyone’s birthday that month. We have baseball games in the winter with hot dogs, salads, and dessert before the game. Every February we give them a big prom and go all out with a dj, flowers, crowns, gift bags and a sit down dinner and desserts. We would like to restart our cooking class every month. They have learned how to socialize and make lasting friendships which is quite a skill. We also have to pay rent. Each year we run out of money to pay rent and the church we rent rooms from let us stay. It takes $24,000 every year to run everything. We have our buddy walk to try to raise enough. We could really use some new baseball equipment. I try to find what i can at yard sales but we still only have 3 gloves and 2 helmets. They are still learning how to share lol

Beside all this, my sister hosts birthdays for each kid at her house at her expense, along with pool parties and sleepovers.
